As usual, there is a ton of good stuff floating around out there on the web that you might find relevant for your your association or charity. Here are my favorites from last week:
- Want to become a better leader? Who doesn't?! This post by Jack Zenger and Joseph Folkman shares some really useful insights based on a fairly detailed study they did recently on a group of 71 organizational leaders. What would you add to this list?
- Nielsen recently released its 2012 Social Media Survey Report and there are a ton of really interesting stats and figures in here. Whether you are trying to rationalize the use of social media to your board, wondering about whether your site should be mobile-friendly or are looking for insights on where to direct your future social media efforts, this is most definitely worth your time.
- If you know you need to update your marketing but not sure where to start, Kivi Leroux Miller has shared a slide-deck you should read on some marketing changes to consider in 2013...and she even gives out some tips on how to get started.
- Finally, this post by Tim Devaney (Forbes) shares some good tips about finding the fine balance between developing content that provides value and 'selling' your organization, cause or product.
